Disappointing Experience with Poorly Maintained BoatI have just rented the \"Elegance\" from Le Boat for a much-anticipated vacation, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of our expectations. Despite the promises of a luxurious and relaxing journey, we encountered numerous issues that stemmed from the poor maintenance of the boat.Firstly, the overall condition of the \"Elegance\" was shocking. From the moment we stepped aboard, it was clear that the boat had seen better days. The interior was tired and worn, with peeling upholstery, scratched surfaces, and a generally unkempt appearance. This is certainly not what we expected from a company that markets itself as a premium boating experience, and a company that I have used for years back in Ireland.The mechanical aspects of the boat were also highly problematic. We experienced repeated issues throughout our trip, causing unnecessary delays and stress. There were moments that made us question whether the boat had even been properly serviced. This lack of reliability significantly detracted from our ability to enjoy the waterways.Additionally, the electrical systems on board were unreliable. Lights flickered intermittently, and some of the outlets didn’t work at all. This made it difficult to charge essential devices, adding another layer of frustration to our journey.The cleanliness of the boat was another major concern. It was evident that the cleaning before our rental was rushed or neglected or not even complete. The overall cleanliness of the cabin left much to be desired. A musty odor permeated the entire boat, suggesting that it hadn’t been aired out or cleaned thoroughly in some time. One of the cupboards smelled of stool!Moreover, the exterior of the boat was in poor condition, with visible rust, chipped paint, and loose fittings. This not only made the boat look unsightly but also raised concerns about its seaworthiness and safety.Overall, our experience with the \"Elegance\" was far from elegant. The lack of maintenance and care was evident in every aspect of the boat, making what should have been a relaxing vacation into a frustrating ordeal. I would strongly caution anyone considering renting from Le Boat to think twice, as our experience was incredibly disappointing and not worth the cost.We can safely say we will never cruise Le Boat again from Europe.

Very nice personnel, amazing service, always ready to help. A vacation on a boat is a great experience, even tho a bit pricy. But worth it! Been there 3 Times now, the boat was always clean and there were almost no issues.

NO INSURANCE ON THEIR BOATS! OUR BOAT GOT ARRESTED BY POLICE!!We expected to have a calm and pleasant week on a boat. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a nightmare. On the second day, the boat we got withheld by coastal police, who arrested our boat due to lack of insurance. It is important to notice that we even paid for an extra insurance policy to ensure that everything was okay. But apparently, Le Boat is the most unprofessional and lousy company I have ever encountered. We called Le Boat many times to try to solve the issue, but they were reluctant to help and did not act on this highly critical issue.Since we were not allowed to stay at the boat from the police authority, we were stranded in the middle of nowhere having our original plans disrupted due to unacceptable service of Le Boat.To make it even worse we have been in contact with Le Boat and they are still treating us poorly, offering no compensation at all for their mistake and our disrupted vacation. It is mind-boggling that a company can exist treating customers who have paid a lot of money for rental and insurance. I don’t understand why we as paying customers should be punished for Le Boat not having basic formalities (insurance) in place? We are shocked and we strongly advise others NOT to choose Le Boat!! We basically just paid for getting our vacation disrupted by police due to lack of insurance from Le Boat’s side. Where Le Boat offered no compensation or help.
