Fantastic experience with Le Boat. The staff were exceptional and the boat itself was very clean and well maintained. The flexibility of the route was also great, being able to have the car driven to our destination boatyard. We did the early check-in and late checkout which was relaxing.Our boat was a Magnifique which was one of the less luxurious boats but still very comfortable and well appointed - and extremely spacious for two people and a dog!! The beds were a bit hard, there was no mains electricity and a few nice things like a table and chairs on the top deck were missing, but given our class of boat was the lowest in the fleet it was better than we expected. However next time we will go for a bit more luxury 😊.None of this stopped us from having an amazing week though, especially the day going through Henley when the Regatta was in full swing.All in all an experience we look forward to trying again soon.All the charges that were made at the end of the trip were exactly as explained at the beginning and were not excessive despite what some other reviews have said. I must also say that we had a far better experience with Le Boat than trips we have done with other companies.(especially a famous one that begins with ‘H’ !!).

Friendly, helpful staff! Nothing was too much trouble. A great, dog friendly, family holiday. From Benson to Abingdon is just a few hours, for a pleasant overnight stay. Several nice bakeries for breakfast and amazing Abbey grounds to explore.

Our first time using a boat and the experience was phenomenal! LLeBoat staff was extremely professional, the people around the canals and towns were fabulous, the food simply outstanding and simply great experience! We will definitely return!

I thought the boat was reasonable value and the team were helpful and friendly. The issue for us was as novices we had difficulty handling the boat in locks and mooring up as only 2 of us in a large 4 berth. If you are new to this I would recommend doing some research on how to handle a boat as this was not provided adequately and it impacted our enjoyment of the holiday.

We would recommend Le Boat Benson to anyone thinking of hiring a boat for a holiday. Staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. Full instructions given until you feel confident. Boats well maintained and equipped. If you haven't tried boating we thoroughly recommend it , a lovely way of life, relaxing, peaceful and an opportunity to visit places and see plenty of wildlife. We took our grandchildren aged 7 and 9 who had a great time and managed to catch some fish as well. Can't recommend Le Boat enough.
