This was our 4th trip, hiring, a ABC narrowboat from Alvechurch. Great boats, very friendy & helpful staff in a lovely location. Have had perfect & memorable holidays that everyone has loved. The scenery, heritage & wildlife on the way made everyday seem different.Great help & service when we returned & a lovely selection of souvenirs in the well stocked chandlery.

Online marina with limited facilities. We were passing and needed coal and gas. The coal was overpriced and they wouldn’t sell us a bottle of gas because they had low stock and were prioritising the hire fleet. We’ll not bother them with our custom in the future.

I make an annual trip here with my family and here out one of the day boats.The staff working around the marina are always really helpful and friendly.The boat itself is kitted out with everything you might need throughout the day - toilet, sinks, kettle, hobs, fridge, plates, cutlery, mugs, glassware etc. You get a tutorial on how to operate the boat and off you go! Perfect in the summer.

Nice walk (but you need to turn around after half an hour unless you want to walk back along a lane with no footpath). Nice quiet pub at the Marina.
